Ride2Work Day is fast approaching! This year the national event will be held on Wednesday 17 October 2012. For the first time, City of Darwin is hosting the Ride2Work CBD Community Breakfast to be held from 7am – 9am in Raintree Park, Smith Street Mall, Darwin. Don’t forget to register online
To show your support, and encourage others to ride to work, you are invited to participate in either of the following 4 ways:
- Be part of Ride to Work Day by jumping on your bike and riding to work on Wednesday 17 October
- If it’s too far to ride from your home, we encourage you to drive half way and ride the other half
- If you can’t jump on your bike, but would still like to help, City of Darwin council is after volunteers to help with the morning breakfast
- Put up a poster in your workplace promoting Ride2Work Day
If you don’t work in the CBD, a community breakfast is also being held at the Royal Darwin Hospital, and a Council staff breakfast at Casuarina Library.
Register online under City of Darwin – Harry Chan Avenue or City of Darwin Libraries
