This proposed amendment designed to facilitate demolition of unit title buildings to allows the construction, most usually of larger and more profitable buildings on the demolition site. Buildings do not need to be old to be demolished, and agreement of 100% of the unit title holders may not be required. This would affect owners and tenants, and may be accelerated by the present NTG urban densification policy.
